I'm really interested in seeing your code as well. I'm working on a bbq smoker control that needs a PID routine to proportionally control a draft fan.

Hey,

I cant find your email, so hopefully this comment reaches you. Anyway, I'm very interested in looking at your code.

I'm part of the RepRap project, and we're building an open source 3D printer. anyway, i'm experimenting with using a thermocouple + the AD595 chip, same as you. I'm also using an arduino, so when i found this article i was very happy.

Anyway, here's what i need PID for. the way our print process works is that we have a plastic extruder (which is basically a fancy, computer controlled glue gun). this extruder has a heater and a thermocouple on it. I'm hoping to either use (or learn from) your PID code to create a rock solid temperature controller that can handle the heating.

please contact me at hoeken@rrrf.org

cheers!
