<description>I'm really interested in seeing your code as well. I'm working on a bbq smoker control that needs a PID routine to proportionally control a draft fan.</description>

					<description>Hello Nashira,

I just read your blog on the ipod Boe Bot and had some questions you might be able to answer. I also had the idea to create a robot with an ipod brain or at least ipod interface and searched and found nothing. Here is my question, I was originally inspired by the Nokia 770 internet tablet robo dog http://robosavvy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=846&#38;highlight=nokia but had the idea to push the envelope by using an ipod touch instead. This seems like it could possibly work using the information from the 770 robo dog. I am however, not so good on the software end and it sounded like you had an idea how to control servos with an ipod, I was wondering if you thought it would be possible to control servos via the ipod touch using a usb2dynamixel serial link. And then somehow get software that can communicate with a Atmega128 microcontroller. Since I am really a novice on the software end I am not even sure how this would be done but it seems like there are some ways using the ipod touch jailbreak and linux??? Anyways I thought your idea was pretty cool and my goal would be really at this point just to see if the ipod touch could work a couple of servos. I was thinking I would try and just get a very basic bioloid kit and try to copy the 770 robo dog platform as much as possible.

Let me know what you think

Thanks
